Patric Hornqvist’s first NHL game was a study in invisibility. Ryan Jones’ first was so memorable he was benched for the next two.

So it should probably come as no surprise that one of Predators Coach Barry Trotz’s biggest challenges early this season is making sure the confidence level of his two prized rookies remains steady as they adjust to the world’s best hockey league.
