Jarod Palmer was the only player to enjoy success in the shootout, lifting Miami to a bonus point after a 1-1 CCHA tie at Alaska Friday night. Pat Cannone scored the regulation goal for the RedHawks, who extended their CCHA unbeaten streak to 15 games.
