No. 1 Miami carried a 2-0 lead into the third period and held on for a 2-1 victory over Alabama-Huntsville Saturday evening at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in the first round of the NCAA tournament. The Chargers played their way into the NCAA tournament by winning the College Hockey America conference tournament.
