Ryan Jones scored for the second straight game as the Nashville Predators beat the Blue Jackets 5-3 last night in Columbus, Ohio. Jones scored his first goal of the season and had one assist in Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings in Nashville.

Miami Alum, Mitch Ganzak named to ECHL All-Rookie Team

The ECHL on Wednesday announced its All-Rookie Team for 2008-09 as determined in a vote of ECHL coaches, who were asked to select a goaltender, two defensemen and three forwards.
A rookie is defined as a player who has played in less than 25 professional games prior to the start of the current season.
