Devils defenseman Andy Greene has been added to the 2010 U.S. Men's National Team that will compete at the International Ice Hockey Federation World Men's Championship, May 7-23, in Cologne, Gelsenkirchen and Mannheim, Germany. The announcement was made Thursday by USA Hockey.

Ryan Jones Scores First 2 Goals in NHL

Ryan Jones scored for the second straight game as the Nashville Predators beat the Blue Jackets 5-3 last night in Columbus, Ohio. Jones scored his first goal of the season and had one assist in Saturday’s 3-2 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings in Nashville.

Alumni update: Guerin’s 2-goal game lifts Pontebba

Forward Marty Guerin did not have a goal in his first seven games overseas, but he netted a pair for Pontebba (Italy) on Oct. 31 in a 3-2 win over Cortina.

Guerin scored with 1:10 left in the first period to tie the score, 1-1, then he notched his second less than three minutes into the second stanza to give Pontebba the lead, which is did not relinquish. Both goals were on the power play.
