For the second straight week and fourth time this year, Miami ranks second behind Denver in the national hockey polls announced Monday. The RedHawks lost some ground to the Pioneers after a win and a tie against Ohio State.

No. 2 Miami, Ohio State Skate to Scoreless Tie

Miami and Ohio State battled for 65 minutes on Saturday with plenty of scoring chances but RedHawk Connor Knapp and Buckeye Dustin Carlson each kept the opponent at bay. The result was just the third scoreless tie in Miami hockey history Saturday at Value City Arena.

Second-Period Outburst Leads No. 2 Miami to 6-2 Victory

A flurry of second-period action lit up the scoreboard as No. 2 Miami defeated Ohio State 6-2 in front of packed house for Senior Night in the final regular-season home game of the year.

CCHA "Road to the Joe" Tour Hits Oxford Friday

Regular Season Closes with Ohio State Series

No. 2/2 Miami wraps up the 2009-10 regular season this weekend with a home-and-home series against its biggest rival, Ohio State. The RedHawks swept the December meetings with the Buckeyes, winning 6-0 in Columbus and 4-2 in Oxford.
