The roar in Steve Cady Arena as Alexandre Lacombe scored the game-winning goal against Ryerson made the game feel almost like regular season but that is still a week away.Miami Defeated Ryerson, Saturday night in a thrilling back-and-forth game that ended with the goal by Lacombe with five seconds remaining on the clock and gave the RedHawks the 4-3 win.

There are still some seats left with the BlueLine Club as they travel to Ohio State to see the Miami Redhawks take on the Buckeye’s of Ohio State.  The bus will leave the Oak St. side of Goggin at 4pm on October 10th. Miami ice hockey prepares for the regular season with an exhibition game against the Ryerson Rams Saturday in Oxford at Steve Cady Arena. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

Miami ice hockey was picked to finish third in the CCHA preseason coaches’ poll and fourth in the media poll. The polls were released Tuesday at CCHA media in Grand Rapids, Mich.
