The 2015-2016 Miami Hockey season is off to an exciting start. Last Thursday night Miami Hockey and Miami Skating held the Fan Appreciation Pep Rally. Both the hockey team and skating teams were introduced and previewed what was to come for the upcoming season. The 2014-2015 NCHC Tournament Championship banner was unveiled. This banner and many of the other banners hanging in Coach Cady Arena have been paid for by the Miami Blue Line Club. After the on-ice events concluded Coach Blasi provided a preview of the season to Miami Hockey fans in the club lounge. On Satuday night, the Miami Hockey Team, kicked off the season with an exhibition 6-1 win over Western Ontario. The new video boards that were installed after last season greatly added to the game-day atmosphere at Coach Cady Arena.
