Miami Announces 2010-11 Hockey Schedule

Home series against New Hampshire, Michigan and Notre Dame, plus a trip to the Florida College Classic in December, highlight the 2010-11 Miami Hockey schedule, Head Coach Enrico Blasi announced today. The RedHawks will play five weekend series against teams that competed in this year’s NCAA Tournament, with the possibility of an additional meeting with St. Cloud State.

Palmer Signs Free Agent Contract with Minnesota

Minnesota native and former Miami RedHawk Jarod Palmer has signed a free agent contract with local NHL team, the Minnesota Wild announced over the weekend. A native of Fridley, the four-year letterwinner will join the club for training camp in September.

Blasi Announces Coaching Staff Changes

Miami Head Hockey Coach Rico Blasi announced changes to the coaching staff for the 2010-11 season Tuesday with the promotion of Brent Brekke and Nick Petraglia. The moves come following the departure of long-time assistant Chris Bergeron to become head coach at Bowling Green.

Hockey Signs Two to National Letters-of-Intent
